When Jesus and his small band returned, he was received more readily in the Galilee than before. Those who had also attended the previous Passover brought the stories of his success home with them. When he later returned, they welcomed this returning famous son. His notoriety opened the doors of local leaders and brought speaking opportunities in the synagogues.
