Parable of the Weeds
Matthew 13:24-30
He gave them another parable, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. But during the night, his foe came and sowed tares among the wheat, and left.

“But when the shoots sprung up and produced wheat, then wheat-like weeds could also be seen. So, the farmer’s servants asked him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these weeds come from?’

“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

Then the servants said to him, ‘What do you want us to do—go and pull them up?’

But he said, ‘No! If you pull up the weeds, you’ll uproot the wheat as well. Let them both grow together until the harvest. Then I’ll tell the reapers to take out the weeds first, bind them in bundles, and burn them. Then harvest the wheat and put it in my barn.”
