Jesus Welcomed to Jerusalem

This is not the same group as those who sang Hosana entering Jerusalem late Friday afternoon. Over the Sabbath, the story of the raising of Lazarus by Jesus and his arrival spread through the pilgrim visitors. Hearing he was coming into town, this welcoming committee formed. Some would have been serious followers and some would have been merely curious to see this celebrity.
