Jesus Tells of His Coming Betrayal

Matthew 26:21

As they ate, he said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”

Mark 14:18

As they sat and ate, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”

John 13:18-21

“I’m not talking about all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But in order that the scripture be fulfilled, he that eats bread with me has lifted his heel against me. I’m telling you now, before it happens, so that when it does, you believe it affirms who I am. I tell you the truth, whomever receives the one I send, receives me; and whomever receives me, receives him who sent me.

After Jesus said this, he was distraught, and said, “I tell you the truth. One of you will betray me.”
