The Thirty-Six-Hour Day
Mark 3:20-21
Galilee
January-February, 32 A.D.

This day begins with what seems a crowd already seeking help as they start their day. Breakfast seems to be interrupted, or perhaps even postponed, because of the needs of a demonized man. The day is spent teaching and with evening they put to sea. Dawn brings a struggle with the Gadarene demoniacs and the next day ends with a call to heal Jarus’s daughter.

It seems that Matthew was more concerned with the order of events than Mark and Luke, so their records are reordered to fit Matthew.
