Matthew 14:13-14
When Jesus heard of John’s death, he crossed by ship to a distant desert place. When the people had heard of it, they followed him on foot from the cities. When Jesus arrived and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and healed their sick.
Mark 6:30-33
And the apostles gathered themselves together with Jesus, and told him everything they had done and taught. And he said to them, “Come away with me to a desert place for a rest. He did so because of the press of the crowd’s chaos prevented them from even eating.”
So, they left by ship for a private place in the wilderness. And the people where they landed saw where they were going and many recognized him. So, they followed them from the cities on foot and came to where he was.
Luke 9:10-11
When the apostles returned, they told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went to a private place in the desert near the city of Bethsaida. And when the people discovered it, for the knew of the place, they followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those that needed healing.
John 6:1-2
After these things Jesus went over to the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberius. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles, which he did for those diseased.
