And he said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man might cast out seed on the ground and then repeatedly goes to bed and gets up. In time, the seed sprouts and grows, but he doesn’t know how. On its own accord, the ground brings out fruit; first the grass and then the ear, and eventually the full corn in the ear. When it is ripe, he cuts it because it is time for the harvest.”
