But when Herod was dead, look! An angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said, “Leave, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those seeking the life of the child are dead.”

Obeying, he took the child and his mother, and returned to the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus ruled in Judea in the place of his father, he went to Galilee. Returning to Nazareth, the prophecy was fulfilled saying, “He shall be called a Nazarene.

Luke 2:39b-40
