John's Arrest and Jesus' Exit from Judea

Matthew 4:12, Mark 1:14, Luke 3:19-20, John 4:3

Matthew 4:12

Now when Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, he left for Galilee.


Mark 1:14a

Now after John was imprisoned, Jesus came to Galilee.


Luke 3:19-20

John censured Herod the tetrarch because of Herodias, his brother, Philip’s wife, and all the other evil things Herod had done. Then Herod added this to all the other evil; he imprisoned John.


John 4:3

He left Judea and returned again to Galilee.
