Miracle at Cana

John 4:45-53

Jesus again came to Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water into wine. And there was a certain aristocrat, whose son was sick in Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had returned from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and pleaded with him to come and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

Then said Jesus to him, “Except you see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” But the nobleman said to him, “Sir, please come! Or, my child will die.” But Jesus said to him, “Go home, your son lives.”

And the man believed what Jesus had said, and left. And as he was going back to Capernaum, his servants met him, and told him the child had recovered. So, he asked them when he had begun to recover and they said to him, “Yesterday, about one-o’clock, the fever left.”

So, the father knew it was the exact time that Jesus had said to him, “Your son lives.” And he, himself, believed, and his whole family. This is the second miracle that Jesus did, when he came back from Judea to Galilee.
