Jesus Teaches and Returns to Bethany

Palm Sunday not only saw the temple cleared of commerce again, but was a time of healing and teaching. In that time, Jesus clearly claimed to be the Messiah, coming as the suffering servant. For the religious leaders, threatened by his exploding popularity, this was the final straw. He had to be eliminated.
