Pharisees Complain about Praise

The crowd that accompanied Jesus from Jericho included pilgrims of differing persuasions. Many were ready to make Jesus their king, many opposed him, and probably most were uncommitted. Here, the exuberance of his followers was a bit much from some of the Pharisees.
