Crowd Questions that the Messiah is to Die

The people replied, “We have heard that the Law teaches that the Messiah lives forever. How then can you say, ‘The Son of man must be lifted up. Who is this Son of Man?”

Then Jesus said to them, “Not much time is left with the light. Walk while you have the light, otherwise darkness will overtake you. Those walking in the dark don’t know where they are going. While you have light, believe in the light, and thus become the children of light.”
