Palm Sunday Celebration

Jesus found a young donkey and mounted it, as it is written, “Fear not, daughter of Zion. Look! Your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.” The disciples didn’t grasp its significance then, but when Jesus was glorified, they remembered the prophecy and its fulfillment by him.

The people who saw him call Lazarus out of his grave, raising him from the dead, told everyone. Those who had heard that he had done this miracle made up the crowd that went out to meet him.

Because of this, the Pharisees plotted against him, saying, “This is not achieving anything. Look! The world has gone after him.”
