The Cup of Redemption

Matthew 26:27-29

And he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them. He said, “Everyone share it, for this is my blood of the covenant, poured out for the forgiveness of sins. But I tell you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”

Mark 14:23-25

And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, gave it to them and they all shared it. And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. I tell you the truth, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until I drink it new with you in the kingdom of God.”

Luke 22:20-22

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.”
