It almost seems that Jesus moved from place to place to avoid hecklers as he ministered to those in need. To our amazement, they continued to ask for a heavenly sign while in the midst of miracles.


When challenged by the Pharisees—now joined by their political enemies, the Sadducees—they moved to Magadan and then to Dalmanutha. Wherever they went, the cry was the same, “Give us a sign from heaven.”
