Matthew 15:39-16:4

And he sent away the crowds, boarded a ship, and came to the coasts of Magdala. The Pharisees with the Sadducees followed hoping that he would show them a sign from heaven.

He answered their challenges and said to them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be bad weather today for the sky is red and overcast.’ You hypocrites! You can read the clouds in the sky, but can’t read the signs of the times? It is a wicked and adulterous generation that needs a sign, but no sign will be given to it—except the sign of the prophet Jonah.”

And he left them, and departed.

Mark 8:9b-13

…and he sent them away. Immediately, he boarded a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

And the Pharisees followed and began to question him, asking for a sign from heaven, testing him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek signs? Truly, I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

And he left them, and boarding ship again went to the other side.
