Matthew 13:1-2

The same day Jesus left the house and sat by the seaside. And so great a crowd came to him that he sat down on a boat to teach while the crowd stood on the shore.

Mark 4:1-2

He began again to teach by the seaside where a multitude gathered to hear him. So, he got on a boat that sat in the sea. The whole crowd was by the sea on the land. And he taught them many things, teaching by parables.
