The Women Report Their Discovery

Mark 16:10-11, Luke 24:9-12, John 20:18

Mark 16:10-11

She went and told those who had been with him as they mourned and wept. And they, when they heard that he was alive, and that she had seen him, didn’t believe her.


Luke 24:9-12

They returned from the tomb and told everything to the Eleven and the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, who told these things to the apostles. And what they reported seemed like fables, so they didn’t believe them.


But Peter got up and ran to the sepulcher. He stooped down and saw the linen wrappings set aside by themselves. So, he left, wondering about what had occurred.


John 20:18

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to her.
